Akshay Kumar sure knows how to celebrate in style. Riding high on the success of his film Rustom, which collected an impressive Rs 82.28 crore in 6 days since its release, Akki chose to thank his well-wishers in his own way on Thursday. He released an 1 minute 22 seconds video which shows him doing a hula hoop and singing names of his colleagues and their upcoming films. From Sonam Kapoor and Varun Dhawan to Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra, everyone features in his song.
Meanwhile, Rustom has inched closer to the much-celebrated Rs 100 cr mark. So far it has garnered Rs 82.28 crore in its first six days. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the film’s business figures.
The film’s impressive run on the ticket windows left another big-budget film, Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro high and dry. Both films released on the same day.
#Rustom Fri 14.11 cr, Sat 16.43 cr, Sun 19.88 cr, Mon 17.81 cr, Tue 7.67 cr, Wed 6.38 cr. Total: ₹ 82.28 cr. India biz. SUPER!— taran adarsh (@taran_adarsh) August 18, 2016
Though Akshay and Roshan denied any rivalry between them, industry insiders called it a ‘clash of the titans.’

“It is not a clash. Do not give it a word clash. Clash is a wrong word (and) we do not clash with each other. We always pray that movies should run at the box office, if the films do well, actors will also do well and eventually the film industry will run,” Akshay said in an interview to PTI.
