“I had met Salman with Katrina, while I was making Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011), and he had liked the film,” says director Abbas Ali.

He has worked with Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor in the past. For his recent film, director Ali Abbas Zafar worked with superstar Salman Khan. He believes that people have made Salman Khan seem larger-than-life by talking about him all the time. He also reveals that his latest film, based on wrestling, has been in the works for nearly four years. “I met Salman with Katrina, while I was making Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011). He had liked the film. I narrated the script to him, even before I started directing Gunday (2014).”
