Actor Varun Dhawan has impressed Bollywood star Salman Khan with his 'different' performance in his next Badlapur. The Dabangg Khan even said Varun should break records of his father (filmmaker David Dhawan) soon.
The Dabangg Khan took to Twitter to shower his praises on Dhawan. Salman tweeted, "Wah yaar! Kamaal karte ho mr varun! Badlapur! Already trying different stuff. Film is looking good. Baap ka record tod do jaldi. Happy for you."

27-year-old Varun, who has earlier featured in comic and romantic roles onscreen, is all set for a rowdy avatar in the revenge drama Badlapur that also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Yami Gautam and Divya Dutta, Radhika Apte and Vinay Pathak in pivotal roles.
Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film's teaser was released online and since then it has been getting a positive response.
Varun thanked the Kick star and mentioned that he will be visiting Bigg Boss 8, which is being hosted by Salman, to promote the film.
"Thank u @BeingSalmanKhan bhai see you tomorrow at big boss #weekendkavaarwithsalman," Varun wrote on Twitter.
Badlapur is slated to release next year.
