In the past, Sonam Kapoor has lent her support to campaigns relating to organ donation and breast cancer awareness. Now, the

actor

is turning her attention to underprivileged children.

The actor is devoting some time to philanthropic work for artist Rouble Nagi’s foundation, which runs country-wide art camps for kids. Sonam is set to travel to Delhi soon to encourage the children and interact with them as they exhibit their creations. Salman Khan is also known to be a long-time patron of the same foundation.

A source tell us, "The foundation has a steady list of supporters like Salman and Sohail Khan. Given her warm equation with the Khan family, Sonam is the newest patron.

She

is currently busy working on Arbaaz Khan’s next, but she was keen on attending the exhibition and meeting the children. She wants to bring attention to the cause that’s helping underprivileged kids try their hand at creative art."
