Bharti Singh greets superstar Salman Khan on the sets of Comedy Nights Bachao.

Salman Khan will soon begin prepping for his next film, Sultan, an Eid 2016 release, in which he plays the role of a wrestler. Over the next two months, the actor will be following a strict regimen to gain more muscle mass for the movie’s character.

In a recent interview, Salman had said, “It (his next) is going to be a really stressful film. I have to put on a lot of weight. A muscular and toned body is a must. It is an action film.”

Now, we’ve been told that his routine will also include a fixed diet plan. An insider reveals, “Salman is currently finishing the last few portions of his Diwali release directed by Sooraj Barjatya. That should end in another two weeks, after which he will start working on his next.”

The insider adds that the makers will only start shooting the film once Salman has the appropriate physique. “The film will go on the floors shortly after that. They will shoot without any breaks, as they’re aiming for an Eid release, and want to invest enough time in the post-production of the film too.”
