Actor-producer Sanjay Dutt is now planning to produce a film with buddy and Bigg Boss 5 co-host, Salman Khan.
“I’ve known Salman since I was 17 or 18 and he must have been 14 or 15. We’ve been buddies for most of our lives but have had few opportunities to work together. So, it is about time I produce a film with my bhai (brother) in the lead. I’m looking for a subject and script that goes with his personality. It could be a comedy or a romantic film or even a commercial potboiler,” says Sanjay, adding, “I don’t know if I’d work on that project as his co-actor. But once I finalise a project and he approves of it, I’ll let him take a call on the music, leading lady and the director.”
Meanwhile, the actor is waiting to hear from another buddy, Ajay Devgn, on the remake of the Telugu film Badri (2000), whose DVD he’s sent him a while ago after buying
“I was extremely disappointed that Rascals hadn’t worked. I found the concept of Badri interesting and something that went well with Ajay’s body of work. So, I’ve sent him the film’s DVD,” says Sanjay.
He goes on to add that he hopes Ajay likes the idea. Sanjay says, “If he does, he can take a call on who should direct the movie, and the other details. That’s the least I can do for a friend.”
