Salman Khan proved that he is a show-stealer at the first look launch of 2.0.

Trust Salman Khan to do the most unexpected things. He came to the launch of the first look of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s upcoming flick 2.0. So, what’s the big deal about it? Well, he wasn’t invited.

Just when Rajinikanth was about to unveil the film’s poster, Khan entered the packed hall. When somebody told Akshay Kumar, who was present at the stage, about his arrival, Kumar came rushing to the gate to receive the Bollywood superstar.

Karan Johar, who was hosting the programme, then welcomed Khan on stage where he charmed everyone with his little story about Rajinikanth. He referred Rajinikanth as Rajini garu and shared how he saw Rajinikanth practicing his famous cigarette flick move.

The Indian Express has quoted Khan as saying, “I just wanted to see Rajini garu. He is the most amazing man. I have a lot of respect for him. I wasn’t invited but got to know about the launch and came here. We were once doing a shoot together – jhumma chumma. And when I went to the bathroom, Rajini garu was there throwing cigarettes and catching it with his mouth. I asked him, “What are you doing?” He said, “There is a lot of wind outside. So I am doing it here.” It was an open air concert and very cold and windy outside. So I went backstage to see if Rajini could catch the cigarette with his mouth in one go and he did it in one single shot.”

Directed by Shankar, 2.0 will hit the theatres on Diwali, 2017. It also features Amy Jackson Adil Hussain in important roles.
