Sanjay Dutt breaks down while shooting for Policegiri
Just a night before the verdict, Sanjay Dutt was on the sets of Policegiri. An eyewitness reveals that when Sanjay learnt about the case hearing the next morning, he broke down. “He suddenly sat down and was spotted sobbing, hiding his face,” says the source.
On Wednesday night, Sanjay Dutt was on the sets of south director KS Ravikumar’s film Policegiri. An eyewitness reveals that when Sanjay learnt about the case hearing the next morning, he broke down.
“He suddenly sat down and was spotted sobbing, hiding his face,” says the source.
The makers were shocked as well and for a while, did not know how to react. Eventually, they called off the shoot for the rest of the day. “Sanjay spoke for a while over the phone to someone, then he spoke to the makers and left,” says the source.
Sanjay didn’t have any shooting schedule on Thursday, and the makers were supposed to shoot with Prachi Desai, the female lead opposite Sanjay.
When contacted, just before the verdict was issued, producer Rahul Aggarwal said, “We were shooting with Sanjay Dutt when this news came (of the hearing). Today we were not supposed to shoot with him.”
What about the film’s prospects now?
“It would be petty of us to think about a film now. He is like my brother. Everyone knows he is one of the nicest people around in the industry,” said Rahul.
