Abbas- Mustan’s Race 2 boasts of biggies like Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. And now, Sanjay Dutt confirms that he is in talks to join the gang.
“Nothing is finalised as yet, but talks are on (with makers). We will see how things go,” says Dutt. Currently, the actor is rather excited about his ‘baddie’ outing as Kancha Cheena in Agneepath and says he isn’t under pressure when comparisons are being made with Danny Denzongpa, who played that role in the original Agneepath (1990).
“Danny sahab is a great actor and I have the highest regard for him. There’s no pressure because I have not tried to copy anyone. I am portraying Kaancha Cheena the way he should be depicted. As a matter of fact, he is just Kaancha without Cheena as a surname. I have portrayed Karan Malhotra’s vision of Kaancha. I am not scared at all about comparisons,” he adds.
Besides his film career, Dutt has also joined hands with Shilpa Shetty’s hubby Raj Kundra to launch Super Fight League (SFL), a martial arts competition. Ask the actor if his plate is full and he says: “Yes, I have several things to do. I have kids and a wife besides a busy schedule. I have to plan out things. I have decided that even if I can’t come to Mumbai, Raj should brief me about work on SFL,” he says.
And lastly, ask Dutt if he plans to touch base with Amitabh Bachchan before he starts shooting for the remake of Big B-starrer Satte Pe Satta (1982), he smiles: “I met Mr Bachchan as soon as I signed the film. I hope I live up to everyone's expectations.”
