If there’s one friendship in Bollywood that has survived the test of time, it has to be that of Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan. The actors, who first worked together in Saajan in 1991, are known to be extremely close.

And now, an insider from the sets of Sanjay’s next, Zilla Ghaziabad, informs us that he will be seen copying Salman’s trademark

Dabangg (2010) step for a song in the film.

“In the track ‘Hud hud dabangg’, Salman is seen holding his waist and moving his belt in a certain manner. Sanjay will be seen doing the same step, but will move his collar in that signature manner instead,” says the source.

Though Sanjay has essayed the role of an urban cop in various films — Department (2012), Shootout At Lokhandwala (2007) and Kurukshetra (2000) — this is the first time he will be seen in the avatar of a ‘desi’ cop from the interiors of Uttar Pradesh. He will also be seen doing some larger-than-life action sequences in the film.

“With Dabangg 2 releasing on December 21 and Zilla Ghaziabad due to hit the theatres early next year, the audience will have lots keep them entertained,” says the source.

Produced by Vinod Bachchan, Zilla Ghaziabad is a story based on real life incidents that revolve around a long-drawn gang war between two old rival groups led by Satbir Gurjar (played by Vivek Oberoi) and Mahender Fauji (played by Arshad Warsi) respectively.
