Filmmaker Prakash Jha’s next, Satyagraha, was first supposed to hit theatres on August 15. Then the film’s release date was pushed to August 23. Now we hear that the film will be out on August 30.

“Like every film, this needed a clear window. We were releasing it just after Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Dobara, but we had a decent gap as the next big release was Bullett Raja (on September 6). Now that Bullett Raja has been postponed, we’ve also delayed our movie by a week so that it can open with a clear window,” says Jha.

The filmmaker has already released the first trailer of the film, which has August 23 as the release date. Jha is going to change it in the next trailer that he plans to attach with Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. “I am not going to stop this trailer. I’ll change it in the next one,” says Jha.

The film’s storyline revolves around the uprising of the middle class against a corrupt and unjust system. The ensemble cast features Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpayee and Amrita Rao.
