Apart from their characters in films, Bollywood celebrities are often associated with the songs they have danced to. Madhuri Dixit Nene is still appreciated for her performances in tracks such as ‘Ek do teen (Tezaab; 1988)’ and ‘Dhak dhak karne laga (Beta; 1992)’. Shilpa Shetty Kundra, too, is often remembered for her moves in numbers such as ‘UP Bihar lootne’ and ‘Shut up and bounce’. We have now learnt that her sister Shamita Shetty will emulate her sister’s moves at an event in Cape Town, South Africa. It is slated to be held at the end of this month.
“Shamita was asked to perform at the corporate function, which is being organised by an Indian committee in Cape Town. She will dance to some of her sister’s popular songs, including ‘Baras ja ae badal (Fareb; 2005)’ and ‘Chura ke dil mera (Main Khiladi Tu Anari; 1994)’,” says a source close to the actor.

Apparently, the actor has been rehearsing for the performance since a month. When contacted, Shamita confirmed the news and said, “I love dancing. I have grown up watching Bollywood numbers. Shilpa is one of the best dancers the industry has. I love dancing to her songs. Now, I have got the opportunity to do it on stage.”
