For his first big solo release, Ferrari Ki Sawaari, Sharman Joshi is holding a special screening for his 3 Idiots (2009) co-stars — Aamir Khan and R Madhavan.

“Sharman trusts their judgment and is sure they will give him honest feedback. That’s why he is excited as well as anxious to show them the film. The three will be meeting after a long time,” says a source from the production team.

Sharman says, “3 Idiots holds a special place for me, and I wanted the team (Aamir and Madhavan) to be among the first ones to see my film.” The three of them are believed to have become really good friends while working together.

“Even after the movie, they would often catch up and chat until the wee hours of the morning,” adds the source. Coincidentally, 3 Idiots director Rajkumar Hirani has written the dialogues for Ferrari Ki Sawaari, while Vidhu Vinod Chopra has produced both films.
