Salman Khan is going all out for his role in Bodyguard. He has now roped in his real-life bodyguard, Shera to be part of an item song that features the actor and Katrina Kaif. The song, shot at Film City, will be a title montage. Shera not only danced with his boss in the song, ‘Aaya re aaya bodyguard…’ but also did a small acting bit with Salman’s ex, Katrina. The song saw him come in as her bodyguard and tell Salman that he is guarding Katrina.
“Yes, I shot for the song yesterday with Bhai and it seemed like magic. It’s a great honor that he has given me,” says Shera, who was a “little apprehensive” about the dance moves. “This is the first time I will be in front of the camera with Bhai. He showed me some dance steps and I rehearsed several times before the final take. I won’t forget this experience.”
Bodyguard’s co-producer and Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri calls it a “nice magical moment.” He adds, “It was Salman’s idea to rope in Shera for the song. I am sure audiences will love it.”
A few days back, Salman had made his off-screen bodyguard of more than a decade unveil the first look of the film. He even refused an in-film branding offer of R seven crore by a security company and instead chose to wear the uniform of Shera’s company, Tiger Security. “Which other superstar can do something like that? Only he has such a big heart to do it,” says Shera.
At the trailer launch, Salman said he wished Shera never writes a book. “Even if someone shoots me, I won’t write it,” smiles Shera. Does Salman have many secrets? “No comments,” he laughs.
