First, for the kind of issues it raises, the film was made tax-free in some states, Madhya Pradesh being one of them. Now, MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, along with the association of IAS officers, has invited the actor to felicitate her for her role.

"Rani received the invite recently, and she immediately responded to it with her assent," says a source close to the actor. The state government has organised a function on September 12 to honour Rani in Bhopal. "Besides the CM and members of the IAS association, a number of state bureaucrats would also be present," adds the source.

shed light on the issue of human trafficking. After MP, other states like Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh also made it tax-free.

Rani remained unavailable for comment, but her spokesperson confirmed the development, saying, "Rani is overwhelmed about the invite from the CM to felicitate her. She will surely visit Bhopal to accept this honour."
