On Tuesday (June 14), when Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan (right) reached the Goregaon (E) sets of a music reality TV show, he didn’t know that he would not be able to leave the venue until much later than the scheduled time of his exit. Varun had to launch the first song of his upcoming film, which has been directed by his brother, Rohit Dhawan.
“Varun’s call time was 7pm. He reached the sets on time. But, due to some unavoidable circumstances, the shooting got delayed by more than three hours. As a result, his shoot started only at 11.30pm,” says an insider.
Despite the “unforeseen” delay, Varun didn’t complain. He patiently waited in his vanity van for the shoot to start. “The crew members were worried about his reaction to such a long delay. But they were surprised when the actor didn’t complain or throw tantrums. Varun finished his part of the shoot in about two hours and left at around 2am. Everyone was impressed with his professionalism,” says the insider.
When contacted, Varun confirmed the news, and said,“I have nothing to complain about. In fact, I had a lot of fun at the shoot. I have always enjoyed dancing and entertaining people, and this shoot was no different.”
