The news of two big Bollywood weddings, that of Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D’souza and Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor early next year, is likely to force the makers of the upcoming films of these stars reschedule their films.
“We have had to push the shoot dates for Rock The Shaadi by almost a month to work around Genelia’s wedding dates,” says Tanuj Garg of Balaji Motion Pictures, which is co-producing the film. Riteish Deshmukh-starrer Kya Super Kool Hai Hum has also been pushed for the same reason. D’souza’s spokesperson, however denies that the wedding is the reason for rescheduling. “They didn’t get permissions for outdoor shoot,” says Divya Tejuja.
There’s also speculation that filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s Kareena-starrer Heroine may also be rescheduled due to Saifeena’s wedding. While Bhandarkar denies the buzz, an insider says, “He is keeping the dates flexible, they’ll be changed if required for the marriage.”
