After all the endless speculation, I am so thrilled to be the first to tell you that SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE- 2 has finally been greenlit!! Yes, I am on board once again but this time I will be on the sizzling hot seat!!!! I cannot tell you how excited I am! But more importantly it is the day when I can proudly say that I managed to fool so many people all in one go! Yes, it is the first of April – the day when you’re licensed to crack jokes, pull pranks, say ridiculous things and share a barrel of guffaws. Gotcha , didn’t I? Did you really think I’d let go of this fantastic opportunity? (snickers)
April 1st is one day I celebrate no matter what as it stands for so much more than just jokes and pranks. It epitomizes the essence of life – laughter. It really can’t be a bad thing when your stomach muscles start to tone up after endless bouts of laughter! It isn’t a ‘hearty’ laugh until it helps kick-start your heart and your day. Don’t just restrict this to April 1st because you don’t need a reason to spread joy for it helps taking the “everydayness” out of everyday.
In my kind of life, sometimes it is important to acknowledge that the biggest pranksters are actually the tabloid media and their so called ‘sources’. It would be practically impossible to have sanity in my life if I fell for every non evidential gossip that was written about me. So instead of letting it affect me sometime... I just laugh.
The good humored prank tradition goes back to 536 BC where the Iranians celebrated this day on the 13th day of Nouruz with harmless pranks and jokes to share a few laughs. So, I urge you to carry on the tradition set in motion centuries ago, play it safe (without hurting anyone) and celebrate the magic of laughter for centuries to come! And yes, don't believe everything the tabloids tell you.
