Sonakshi Sinha refuses to comment on Salman Khan’s rape controversy

While many in Bollywood have made public their views on actor Salman Khan’s rape analogy, Sonakshi Sinha — who made her debut with Salman in Dabangg in 2010, and is known to share a great equation with the actor — prefers staying away from it.

Recently, when Sinha was asked to give her opinion on the controversy, she refused to do so.

“Too much has already been said. Too much focus is given to it. I will stay away from it. It should be put aside. There are other things to focus on,” Pinkvilla quoted Sinha has saying.

Sonakshi is currently basking in the praise that the recently launched trailer of her upcoming film Akira is getting. The movie, which is written, produced and directed by AR Murugadoss of Ghajini and Holiday fame, will hit the theatres on September 2. It is the remake of Tamil film Mouna Guru and also features Konkona Sen Sharma and Anurag Kashyap in important roles.
