Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha’s son, Luv, who made his acting debut with Sadiyaan (2010), didn’t see a very successful run at the box office. But now, we’ve been informed that he has been signed by producer Ekta Kapoor for a two-film deal.

A source close to the actor reveals, “The first film will be a romantic drama directed by a new director. The casting process of the female lead has begun and the film will go on the floors early next year.”

When asked about this, Sinha says, “I am extremely kicked about Ekta signing me. Her’s is one of the most reputed production houses in the film business and I look forward to have a successful association ahead. She has vested trust in my capabilities and our appreciation for each other’s work is mutual.”

Likewise, Kapoor adds, “Luv is a brilliant actor. We will be working together and it’s going to be a big project. I feel as an actor, he has not received his due. I have complete faith in his capabilities and I am sure our association together will be a huge success.”
