Sonam Kapoor has no time for celebrations

Sonam Kapoor, who has been a part of two recent back-to-back hits, Raanjhanaa with Dhanush, and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (BMB) alongside Farhan Akhtar, has had no time to enjoy the success with her family and friends.

Not one to rest on her laurels, Sonam has kept herself busy with upcoming projects and hasn’t taken a break for a while.

A source close to the actor reveals, “Before the huge success of her recent films could sink in, Sonam started shooting her next film with Ayushmann Khurrana. The production house had planned the dates much in advance and got time from Ayushmann, Rishi Kapoor (who plays Sonam’s father) and Sonam for the schedules."

After she finished Raanjhanaa, Sonam immediately got busy promoting BMB. And since her dates for her next film were already finalised, she couldn’t take leave from work even after BMB released. But the source says that this only means that there’s probably a bigger celebration coming up for the actor.

"Sonam hasn’t even been home to have dinner with her close friends and family. She has postponed the celebrations for now. She didn’t want to celebrate her success, knowing that she has got a lot of work lined up. Instead, she felt that once she wraps up what she has in hand, she can relax and have more fun,” the source says.

Ask Sonam about this and she says, “I have been inundated with calls from my friends from the industry, family and well-wishers. My house is filled with flowers and this calls for a big celebration for everyone. But I will plan it only once my shooting schedule is over."
