With the election season on in full swing, celebrities are urging the public to come out in large numbers to cast their ballot and make a difference.

Actor Sonam Kapoor too wants everyone around her to vote.

A source close to her says, "

Sonam

has just begun shooting for her upcoming film, Dolly Ki Doli, which is produced by Arbaaz Khan and directed by Abhishek Dogra. They have shot for a week in Nashik and their next schedule will be in Mumbai and it coincides with the polling date in the city (April 24). Sonam has requested the makers of the film to postpone the shooting by few hours, so that she can vote and come on the sets. She also hopes that the entire unit will vote and come for the shoot instead of missing the opportunity just to set the camera rolling."

While

Sonam

and Arbaaz remained unavailable for comment, Sonam’s spokesperson confirmed the news saying, "Yes, Sonam has indeed requested the makers that she would like the shoot delayed as casting her vote is her first priority."
