They have been friends for over a decade now but worked together only after six years of knowing each other. But even the professional equation between actor Shah Rukh Khan and producer Ritesh Sidhwani has reached a level where Sidhwani can’t stop praising Khan.

"Shah Rukh is addictive. If you work with him in one film and not in the other, you start missing him. He is one person who will come in the morning, come to every unit member and greet them. He is very humble and charming, and that’s always what comes out on the screen," said Sidhwani, who visited the HT City office on Monday along with SRK to promote their latest outing Don 2 that hit the screens yesterday.

Shah Rukh Khan

"Shah Rukh is quite convincing in whatever he does. He has brought a level of coolness to Don. He has made bad look sexy. People have accepted it like his other characters - Raj or Rahul," said the 38-year-old.

Sidhwani revealed that Don 2, which is a sequel to the 2006 film Don that was a remake of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer hit of the same name, was never part of his plan. "Don 2 was never planned. We didn’t know if a negative character like Don will get accepted. But people loved it. Everybody wanted more of Don. So, we thought of giving them Don 2," he said.

But will there also be a Don 3? "We haven’t planned Don 3 either, but we’ve left an open ending with a blatant clue about it. So, if people want more of Don, they will get it," says Sidhwani.
