Starting November, Delhi will transform into tinsel town. Bollywood's A-league stars, and some debutants, will descend on the Capital for long shooting spells — with lights, cameras and all the action.
The first week of November will see the filming of Saif Ali Khan’s home production, Agent Vinod. While Saif and girlfriend, actor Kareena Kapoor, who is his co-star in the film, are already in Delhi, the rest of the film’s crew is expected to arrive in the coming week. The film’s director, Sriram Raghavan is also reportedly already in town, recceeing possible film sites. The film will be shot in prime locations of Delhi, Gurgaon and Saif's ancestral home, the Pataudi Palace, where Saif and Bebo are reportedly staying at present.
“The dates are set; the crew should be arriving any day,” says a source, wishing not to be named. Mid-November, actor Ranbir Kapoor will be in Delhi to complete the filming of Imtiaz Ali’s film, Rockstar.
“We did not want to shoot around the Commonwealth Games because of tight security, so we moved to France. And now, we will be back in Delhi around November 15 to complete the shooting of a song and some other sequences,” says a source from the unit. Another movie to be filmed in Delhi in November is a Kumar Mangat production, featuring an all-new cast.
