Star kids Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor feel that they have a long way to go to match up to their respective fathers – actors Jackie Shroff and Shakti Kapoor. The two were asked to imitate their fathers during their recent visit to Hindustan Times, on Tuesday, for an interaction with the winners of the Stars in the City contest, for their film Baaghi. However the two couldn’t get themselves to do it. “That’s very tough. Baap baap hota hai. Unke samne kuch nai hoon main,” says Tiger. Shraddha added, “I can’t imitate my dad and do justice to it.”
However, Tiger has a clear choice when it comes to working in a remake of his dad’s films. When asked by one of his fans, he promptly replied, Parinda. Shraddha, however, had a different view. “It’s very difficult to say. It’s tough to make good adaptations of films, which have already been made. I can tell you my all time favourite films are Andaz Apna Apna and Raja Babu,” she said.

He’s playing a rebel in his upcoming film, but Tiger says that he is nothing like that in real life. “I am very different from my character. Main apne ma baap se bahut darta hoon. But bachpan mein, I was a baaghi. In school, I never paid attention in class and I never thought that academics will help me and they didn’t! But please study! I don’t want moms to get angry!,” he says.
Both Tiger and Shraddha are known for their dancing skills and director Sabbir Khan, who also accompanied the actors, said that in the film he’s intentionally kept their dance steps casual. “It was fun seeing them dance on the sets,” he said.
