Riding high on the popularity of her American TV show Quantico, actor Priyanka Chopra is all philosophical when she says that success is not a goal, but a journey which continues. “I am humbled by the tremendous love, the accolades and success that has come my way with Quantico. Interestingly, People think success is a destination, but I feel it is a state of constant. Different things happen to you and different opportunities come your way. You either succeed at them, or fail. There are just these two options. So, success is being in a constant state of victory,” she says.
The 33-year-old, who will be next seen in filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama Bajirao Mastani, co-starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, informs that she is also trying to balance her own production house with her acting assignments. “It’s difficult for me to plan trips and handle my production house back home while I am away. I have an incredible team which has been led by my mother. At present, we are in the middle of reading a lot of scripts. I am hoping that soon something concrete comes out of it. We’ve been doing a lot of commercials in the meantime,” she says.
