Actor Sunny Leone now wants to change her image in Bollywood. The actor says that she has made a conscious decision to take up work which is different from what she has done in the past, so that people in the industry realise her potential.

“After my film Mastizaade, I think some comedies might come my way. I have two other movies coming up that are in a different space. So, I hope people see that I can work in different kinds of films. I have made a horror film (Ragini MMS 2) and a half period-half modern film (Ek Paheli Leela) in the past as well. I think this will help people see me in a different way here,” she says.

The actor says that while looking at scripts, it’s the scope of her character that interests her in the film. For instance, she took on her last project, Mastizaade, because she was getting to play a double role for the first time. “I had never done a double role, and I found both roles interesting. One character is how people perceive me here... this over the top bombshell, and the other one is nerdy . I know this is hard to believe, but it was a lot easier playing the dorky character as that was closer to my personality. I hate to burst everyone’s bubble out there but I don’t walk around in a bikini and stilettos all day,” she laughs.

While she loves being an actor, the 34-year-old says that she is still figuring out how to balance her personal and professional life. “I think the most difficult thing is that you lose your time and space and you have to be someone else. One has to try and balance that, and that’s challenging,” she says.
