Rain brings winter chill to Delhi
Kissing on screen doesn’t seem to be a big deal anymore, at least for the new, young brigade of actors. Ayushmann Khurrana, Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have all been happy to do the lip lock when their scripts have demanded it. But Sushant Singh Rajput seems to have gone the extra mile for Shuddh Desi Romance (SDR). The actor has set a record of sorts, by locking lips with his two female co-stars (Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor) 27 times in the Maneesh Sharma movie. A source says, “Since the film revolves around young love stories, the story required him to lock lips with his co-stars." Sushant’s act has led to some obvious speculation about whether he has dethroned serial kisser Emraan Hashmi, who held an unofficial record for the maximum kissing scenes in one film. He reportedly kissed Mallika Sherawat 13 times in Murder (2004). The spokesperson did not comment on the number of kisses in the film, but did clarify that “the movie represents the youth and their mindset. It’s not pretentious or vulgar."
