High on the success of two back-to-back releases, Sushant Singh Rajput may have more to smile about.



Reliable sources reveal that the young actor will star in Shekhar Kapur’s next, Paani. Earlier, Hrithik Roshan’s name had done the rounds for the same role. Hollywood actor Kristen Stewart was also rumoured to be in consideration.



Kapur and Yash Raj Films will co- produce the film, which is set in the future, at a time when water wars have broken out. It will be shot in India as well as at multiple overseas locations, and will go on the floors in a few months.
