If the title of Tamasha, its swag poster and dreamy locations were not enough, the first song of the film is a dead giveaway to its mood – let’s let our hair down and have some fun. Called Matargashti, the song has Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone doing just that in what looks like another scenic locale.

Written by Irshad Kamil, Matargashti is one of the cheerful numbers shot in foreign locales to flaunt the ‘free-spirit’ of the characters. AR Rahman’s music in the song is catchy and Irshad’s words add to the peppy mood.

Given that this is Imtiaz Ali’s film, we are sure it will be all loved up but as of now the focus is on goofing around.

Sample the lyrics:

Tu hi to hai jisne kheenchi meri dhoti ab tu dhunde kaha bande main kaba na kashi..

Mai Twitter pe hun DP meri dekho..

Deepika and Ranbir charm with their moves; and Ranbir even apes yesteryear Bollywood star Dev Anand. The film will see the lead stars meeting while on a vacation, falling in love and then the inevitable heartbreak.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone -- who appeared in an aww-inducing video on Dubsmash with Ranveer Singh a few days ago – is at it again. Hours before Matargashti was released on YouTube, Deepika shared an Instagram video where she dances to the tune. Watch out for some mean pelvic thrusts.

Tamasha is scheduled to hit theatres on 27 November 2015. It will see a reunion of the director with the lead stars Ranbir and Deepika. Imtiaz earlier directed Ranbir in Rockstar and Deepika in Love Aaj Kal.
