R Madhavan is known to keep a low profile. But on his birthday (Monday) this year, as the actor turns 45, he plans to change that.

— Madhavan has more to celebrate this year. He says, "The reactions have been very flattering. Appreciation is important for any creative person. I am very grateful to Aanand, Himanshu Sharma (writer) and Kangana for making it such a hit."
"Usually, on every birthday, I visit the temple, and spend time with my family. My birthdays are quiet affairs. But this year, everyone has forced me to throw a party, so I will," says Madhavan, who feels it’s "embarrassing" to be hosting a bash for his 45th birthday.

The actor has invited all his friends, including some from the film fraternity. "Among the actresses, Kangana (Ranaut), Dia Mirza, Soha Ali Khan and Samita Bangargi should attend the party. Aanand (L Rai; director) and some others are also expected," he says.
Madhavan has invited his 3 Idiots (2009) co-star Aamir Khan as well, but the latter isn’t in town.
