Kalki Koechlin, who garnered rave reviews for her role in the Anurag Kashyap-directed,

Dev D

, will be seen next in Zoya Akhtar’s

Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara

and

That Girl In Yellow Boots

, also directed by Kashyap. But, shooting with him was different this time round, as the two are seeing each other now.

Says the actor, “He is sexy, romantic and open-minded.” That said, she confesses they had their share of arguments while filming was on. “It (shooting) was great, but we fought a lot. Anurag’s sensibilities are very different from most — they stretch you as an actor.”

The actor denies that clips of

That Girl In Yellow Boots

have illegally found their way to the internet. “No, they were not leaked. They were downloaded from the Toronto Film festival site; the film is going to be screened there.”

Recently, Kalki attended the launch of tumbhi.com, a website that serves as a platform for upcoming talents. And, she reveals it was Kashyap who convinced her to come on board. “Anurag is going to make six short films with the talent that will be sourced from the website. Since I’m a loyal and loving girlfriend, he asked me to join him, and so I did.”

Incidentally, the actor has faced her fair share of struggle. “I would be sitting at Prithvi (studio) almost every day,” she says, recalling her experience as a beginner.
