The so-called issues between

Ajay Devgn

and Shah Rukh Khan were the most talked about back in 2012, when their films — Son Of Sardaar and Jab Tak Hai Jaan — released on the same day. Ajay had accused the makers of SRK’s film of having taken advantage of their market position to get the maximum number of screens for their movie.

What followed was news of an alleged cold war between the actors. But, Ajay recently opened up on the matter and rubbished these claims.

After SRK wished Ajay and the team of Singham Returns on Twitter, the latter spoke about it at the trailer launch of his film and further clarified that there have never been any problems between them. “I am very thankful that SRK has done that (talking about his tweet). I think whatever ‘problems’ are talked about in the papers or shown on channels, are all [only] in the media. There is no problem between us, [and] there has never been. We all wish each other the best, and work as one unit,” he said.

Ajay also revealed that the trailer of Shah Rukh’s next is being attached with his film. “His movie’s promo is coming with our project and I would like to wish [him and his team] all the best, and hope each film does well,” he added.

Though, when asked about SRK coming to his film’s sets, he turned down the euphoria around it by saying, “Yes, he had dropped in and had a chat with Rohit (Shetty, director), but why is that supposed to be a big deal?”
