Tejas Padia assisted directors Neeraj Vora, Satish Kaushik and Rumy Jaffrey before attempting to make a zero budget film. Tired of the requirement of a ‘hero’ to get financed, he decided to make Lo… Ho Gayi Party no matter what. He says, “In an age when films are announced as 100 crore projects before going on floors, people were surprised when I narrated the concept and asked them to work on my zero budget film. We started on August 2, 2010 with just the belief that we could do it.”

The film is a comic satire and claims that the producer is God. Tejas adds, “I left everything to God, and professionals who normally charge a bomb started joining me in good faith.” The film has known names like Satish Kaushik and Manoj Joshi along side television actors Aniruddh Dave, Paresh Bhatt, Vaidehi Dhamecha, Manav Wasvani and Lavina Bhatia. It also boasts of music from singer Arun Daga who has sung for Dabangg. He says, “From the script-writing sessions to the casting, everything was nurtured by thorough professionals. Money was never a deterrent and I lived on my savings during this period.”
