This is how Sultan dominated PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Dhoom 3 day by day

A similar hype was created when Aamir Khan’s PK released in 2014, which eventually went on to garner Rs 500 crore worldwide.

If you ever had any doubt about who rules Bollywood, here’s the verdict: It’s Salman ‘Sultan’ Khan. Since the release of his newest blockbuster, Bhai has bulldozed his way to box office glory, an unprecedented feat considering even a Shah Rukh or Aamir Khan film never generated such hysteria on the ticket windows. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Sultan has already crossed the Rs 180 cr mark and is heading to gross Rs 200 crore on its 6th day.

A similar hype was created when Aamir Khan’s PK released in 2014, which eventually went on to garner Rs 500 crore worldwide.

Salman Kahn’s 2015 release Bajrangi Bhaijaan also did phenomenal business at the ticket windows, and at one point looked all set to break PK’s all- time collection record. It fell short, but only marginally.

Aamir’s Dhoom 3 also started big, but fizzled out eventually. Though it became a monstrous hit in the process.

Sultan, however, looks unstoppable for now. If this trend continues it could well be the biggest hit Bollywood has ever seen.
