Tiger, Shraddha’s Baaghi rakes in Rs 38.58 cr in opening weekend

In absence of good competition, Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Baaghi is doing well at the box office. The film has collected Rs 38.58 crore in its opening weekend.

Trade analyst Taran Adash tweeted, “#Baaghi ROARS. Biz SOARS... Has a ROCKING Sun... Fri 11.94 cr, Sat 11.13 cr, Sun 15.51 cr. Total: ? 38.58 cr. India biz.”

Director Sabbir Khan’s film has become the third highest opener of 2016 after Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan (Rs 19.20 cr) and Akshay Kumar’s Airlift (Rs 12.35 cr).

The movie, which was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainmen, was released on 29 April.
