Actor Tusshar Kapoor celebrated his 35th birthday in Patna on Sunday. The actor, who was promoting his next much-awaited film, The Dirty Picture, in Bihar was working on a tight schedule, but nonetheless he managed to sneak out to visit the popular Hanuman Temple to seek blessings for the success of his films.

Everyone in the Kapoor family is known to be an ardent follower of Lord Hanuman. That’s why Tusshar made sure he didn’t miss a chance to visit the popular shrine on his birthday. Co-star Emraan Hashmi too accompanied the actor to the religious spot.

A source from the agency that is marketing the Milan Luthria film in Patna says, “Tusshar is working hard to promote The Dirty Picture and when he expressed the desire to go to the temple on his birthday, we were more than happy to arrange it. It’s a special day for him.”

Tanuj Garg, CEO, Balaji Motion Pictures, that also produced The Dirty Picture, confirms the news. Though the actor is known for his multi-starrer films, in the past he has also tried his hand as a solo lead. Unfortunately, most of those attempts have been in vain.

“My aim is to give a solo hit and more multi-starrer hits every year,” says Tusshar, who made his debut with Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai (2001). He was last seen in Hum Tum Shabana earlier this year.

Regretting that audiences and film experts always associate him only with his multi-starrer films like the Golmaal series, he adds, “I have done both solo and multi-starrer films, but only the multi-starrers have been successful. That’s why people think I only do multi-starrers.” The Dirty Picture releases on the 2nd of next month.
