Varun Dhawan is dad David’s hero again

After a successful first collaboration with Main Tera Hero (MTH), the father-son duo, David and Varun Dhawan, are set to come together again. This time, it’s a “big-budget, comedy-action” venture that is likely to kick off after Varun wraps up his next with Remo D’Souza.

“Yes, Varun is confirmed to work with David sir again. They have briefly discussed it, but they’re still looking for a script that will do justice to their collaboration. They are in no hurry to start the film,” says an insider close to the Dhawans.

Interestingly, this film will be shot on a much bigger scale than MTH. The insider says, “It will have all the ingredients of a typical David Dhawan project with a lot of action and comedy. But since their last film did well at the box office, this one will be made on an even bigger scale. Expectations from them will be high, so they don’t want to leave anything to chance.

Currently, Varun is busy wrapping up Sriram Raghavan’s next (co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Huma Qureshi) after which he will start shooting for D’Souza’s dance film in the US. Although Varun couldn’t be reached for comment, David confirms the news saying, “Yes, my next film will also be with Varun. Actually, from now on, will not work with other actors.”
