On August 29, the first track from Vashu Bhagnani’s upcoming film, Ajab Gazabb Love, will be launched online (on sonymusic.com and YouTube). Boom boom boom, liplock kar le choreographed by Bosco, features Jackky Bhagnani with 290 dancers. It’s been shot in Viareggio, a small Tuscan town four hours from Milan, over a period of five days.

“It will connect with the youth, which is why we are releasing it online, rather than on TV, because youngsters log on to the net first. You can download the first song for free,” says Vashu, who also released the first promo online and got 1,60,000 hits in less than 48 hours. Chaar baj gaye from Jackky’s debut film, F.A.L.T.U had gone viral on YouTube too.

Subsequently, every two weeks, a new single will be launched online, right up to October 24 when the film and its music album will release simultaneously. “All four tracks are great, and over eight weeks, I want to give each a chance to grow on the listeners,” reasons Vashu.

Jackky will perform a seven-minute dance at the launch. Will he also lock lips with co-star Nidhi Subbaiah, like the song suggests? Vashu laughs, “There are no lip locks in the song either.”
