Vidya Balan has never felt better. The 34-year-old actor says she is on a never-before high, and enjoying every bit of it. “I’m thoroughly enjoying my stardom. There has been a huge evolution of me through the years both as an actor and human being. From being a shy girl to playing a bold character like Silk, I have become very outgoing. I am so happy that people have accepted me with open arms,” says the actor, who after riding on the success of The Dirty Picture and Kahaani also represented Hindi cinema abroad. Balan is chilling before she gets onto her next shoot in August, for Raj Kumar Gupta’s Ghanchakkar.
On the personal front too, love’s in its top blossom, she says. “I am in a very happy space (in personal life),” she says. The actor, who is dating UTV honcho Sidharth Roy Kapur, was most recently spotted sharing some lovey-dovey moments with him at filmmaker Karan Johar’s birthday bash last week.
Balan, who seemed to look thinner on her recent visit to the Capital, says she’s making no effort to do that, and frankly doesn’t care. “I love curves ... I am well endowed and not complaining. I enjoy my body.” Her lavani number, Mala Jau De, is also making news. She says, “It’s always been my dream to do a lavani number, and I’m glad I did. I had a complete blast while shooting it.
