Going by the look of it, Vidya Balan would be seen in another hatke avatar in Bobby Jasoos.

Vidya Balan never ceases to surprise. If you thought you've seen enough of her -as a finicky housewife in Shaadi Ke Side Effects to an avenging woman in Kahaani, and even as a seductress in The Dirty Picture - get ready to see more of her now.

This time, the feisty actor's going all out to prove she is Bollywood's most bankable actor.

In Bobby Jasoos, one of her most eagerly awaited films, she plays a beggar, a postman, peon, cabbie, holy man and several other roles. We are told she plays 22 different roles in Bobby Jasoos, a first of its kind for the industry.

And in all this, she also manages to sizzle in that customary song sequence: the just-released song from the film, Tu, where she's seductively dancing with Ali Fazal, is already creating a buzz among her fans.

The sufi touch to the lyrics by Swanand Kirkire, and the soulful voices of Papon and Shreya Ghoshal, only add to the royally romantic mood.

Directed by debutant director Samar Shaikh, the film also stars Ali Fazal, Kiran Kumar, Arjan Bajwa, Anupriya Goenka, Rajendra Gupta, Supriya Pathak and Zarina Wahab.

Vidya, who calls the film a dramedy, promises both fun and thrill in Bobby Jasoos. Her character does not look over-the-top, unlike her Ghanchakkar avatar.
