Vidya Balan is in the spotlight at the ongoing 2011 Indian Film Festival: Bollywood and Beyond, currently being held in Australia.

Vidya Balan is in the spotlight at the ongoing 2011 Indian Film Festival: Bollywood and Beyond, currently being held in Australia. The 10-day festival that kicked off on Sunday is being screened in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Auckland. Vidya’s film No One Killed Jessica (2011) opened the festival. Other movies starring the actor that will be screened at the festival include Parineeta (2005), Lage Raho Munnabhai (2006), Paa (2009) and Ishqiya (2010).

Vidya is currently in Australia where she is also promoting her forthcoming films, Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahani and Milan Luthria’s The Dirty Picture. Other movies being screened at the festival include Dabangg (2010), Rituparno Ghosh’s Bengali film, Abohomaan, Anant Mahadevan’s Marathi movie, Mee Sindhutai Sapkal and Collin John D’Cunha’s award-winning short film, Mumbaikar Ganesh. The festival will close with Onir’s film, I Am.
