Actor Vidya Balan, who bagged multiple awards for her role in Sujoy Ghosh’s (inset) 2012 hit, Kahaani, has walked out of his upcoming project at the last minute, citing health issues.
This has sparked off rumours about Balan’s pregnancy, yet again.
“Vidya said that she has been asked to rest at home by her doctor, and not exert herself in hectic shoots,” says a source close to the project.

Incidentally, Balan has also reportedly opted out of Mohit Suri’s Hamari Adhuri Kahani, thereby reiterating rumours that she may be expecting a child.
Though reports suggest that Ghosh has found a replacement in Kangana Ranaut, who is currently earning rave reviews for her lastet film, but sources claim that Ghosh was put in a tight spot owing to Vidya’s sudden decision.
“Sujoy didn’t expect this at the last minute. All arrangements for the shoot were made in Kolkata, other actors’ dates were also booked,” says a source close to Ghosh, whose sequel to Kahaani, with Balan, has also been shelved after his reported tiff with producer Jayantilal Gada. Both Balan and Ghosh didn’t respond to our calls.
