Seems Vijay Raaz ia acting too pricy post the success of Delhi Belly. The actor has opted out of Anand Kumar's Zilla Ghaziabad just 10 days after signing the film and the director is fuming.
Vijay, who has been praised for his stellar performance in Delhi Belly, opted out of the film barely a week before they were to start shooting.
A source told Mid-Day, "After the release of Delhi Belly, VR had reservations about his character. He told the director that Fakira (his character) was not doing much except running behind Prakash Fauji, essayed by Arshad Warsi and inspired by real life gangster, Mahendar Fauji. And subsequently, he opted out of the movie."
He has been replaced by Deepak Dobriyal of Omkara and Tanu Weds Manu fame.
Director Anand Kumar confirmed the news and said, "So what if Delhi Belly released? Vijay is acting as if he has become Aamir Khan overnight. He should be grateful that he got that chance and should not let fame and success go to his head. Maybe he thinks he's become Aamir Khan and wants to do only lead roles now."
Vijay Raaz, on the other hand, clarified that he had to opt out of the film due to date problem.
