Filmmakers generally focus on promoting only the lead actors of their movies, but Vishal Bhardwaj is making three times the effort. He has made three special promos, which will give viewers glimpses of the lead characters played by Imran Khan, Anushka Sharma and Pankaj Kapoor, in his next film Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola (MKBKM).

Vivek Krishnani, head of distribution and marketing, Fox Star studios, says, “The film’s title features the names of the three characters and each of them has a certain zaniness and craziness. We wanted to highlight that fact for the audiences, as (judging from the promos) they are starting to love these characters. Through the promos, we want people to start talking about the roles of the actors.”

The three promos will air only on television and will focus on the lead characters indivually unlike the first promo, which featured all of them.

Vivek adds, “We already have a long trailer in theatres, which does justice to all three characters and has got fantastic reviews. Even the title song was appreciated. We have a brand new second trailer, which will be attached to Talaash. This one will show more about the film and also have a new song in it, since Vishal’s films are known for their music.”

After the title track, the second song to be released is called Oh Boy Charlie.
