Christmas became merrier for the contestants as they got an opportunity to give playback for Bharadwaj’s soon-to-release film.

Brimming with excitement, the contestants — Jasraj, Jazim, Vishwajeet, Renu, Aman, Shenaz and Arshpreet — celebrated Christmas with Bharadwaj and his singer wife, Rekha. They recorded the song, ‘Khatra hai bhai khatra hai…’. “All of us had a brilliant experience recording with Vishalji and Rekhaji. I feel blessed to have got this opportunity. Vishal ji was our Santa Claus this year in every sense of the word. He just came on our show to promote his movie and ended up offering all of us an opportunity to sing in Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola. We are ever so grateful to him,” said Vishwajeet. The episode will air today at 9pm.
