Ranveer Singh, Govinda and Ali Zafar's forthcoming film Kil Dil seems to have shifted its promotional activies into top gear with the launch of its title track on Thursday. Composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and penned by ace lyricist Gulzar, Sonu Nigam and Shankar Mahadevan have given their voice to this song. The film is about two orphans who grow up to become contract killers with the help of a local don. The film has a very ‘Western’ feel to it, and the song is composed in such a way that it gives you a feel of the '70s Hollywood cowboy films.
The track takes its cue from well-known Western film The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966), but goes on to incorporate heavy strings and mild bass touch to it. With its old-world orchestra charm, its just the right kind of song if you are a fan of the kind of music composed by RD Burman.
