Highlight Story

After Mithya and Phas Gaye Re Obama, writer-director Rajat Kapoor brings another satirical film for the audience - Ankhon Dekhi.

Veteran actor Sanjay Mishra plays the protagonist Bauji who decides one day that he will only believe what he sees with his own eyes.

In an interesting scene, we see Mishra outside the cage of a tiger, trying to see if it roars. Mishra even moans like a cow to coax a reaction from the tiger.

He is later seen as saying, "

Maine sher ko dahadte hue nahi suna... kabhi nahi

." Thus, he wouldn't believe that a tiger even roars!

In later part of the trailer, we see a different shade of Bauji's character. He says one shouldn't believe what one sees but what others say.

Beneath the satire and jokes, we see a Mishra's 55-year-old character living a dreary life, sharing a small and cramped house.

We can also see the pathos of a common man who has to compromise at various levels to survive in today's world.

Manu Rishi Chadha (of

Phas Gaye Re Obama

fame), Rajat Kapoor, Seema Pahwa, Taranjeet, Maya Sarao, Namit Das and Brijendra Kala also feature in the movie. Produced by Manish Mundra, the movie is scheduled for a release on March 21.
