The first trailer of much-awaited Happy New Year is out. Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Deepika Padukone and Boman Irani star in the film directed by Farah Khan. It also features Naseeruddin Shah's son Vivaan Shah.

The trailer introduces the lead characters and lays out the plot which revolves around a heist.

While SRK, Deepika and Boman look confident in their roles, Sonu Sood impresses the most with his bare body shots and street-smart act.

The trailer, however, is not exciting enough for a film supposed to be based on theft. Interestingly, the actors changed their Twitter handles on Thurday to their character names for the movie -- Charlie (SRK), Mohini (Deepika), Nandu (Abhishek), Jag (Sonu Sood), Tammy (Boman) and Rohan (Vivaan).

Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd has produced the movie that is slated for Diwali release.
