Karan Johar’s new film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has been in theatres for a couple of days now, so the spoilery information that Shah Rukh Khan makes a cameo appearance in the film as the ex-husband of Aishwarya Rai’s character has already begun circulating. But it appears that some fans in Nashik were prepared for King Khan’s entry in the film.
A new video doing the rounds on Twitter captures the moment SRK appears on the screen and the fans in the theatre burst firecrackers in celebration.
The images are quite shocking.
As the debate about firecracker hazards - both health and safety wise - rages on, the carelessness shown by these fans in a single screen theatre in Malegaon reportedly left the audience frightened and created a stampede-like situation.
Here’s what happened: As the rockets and other dangerous fireworks were set off, the theatre stopped the screening abruptly. Towards the end of the video, most of the hall was empty.
Actor Sidharth was the first among many to condemn this act, taking to Twitter to ask what the police was doing about this ‘shameful incident’.
Deeply disturbing. Shameful incident. What is the law doing about it? Scary! https://t.co/iOig5XbPJ6— Siddharth (@Actor_Siddharth) October 31, 2016
SRK's fandom is, ahem, 'explosive' I'd say. 😎— Vibhor Singh (@_WeBore) October 31, 2016

The film has been playing well across the country, especially multiplexes, earning more than Rs 35 crore domestically in its opening weekend.
